Wildwood Crest - As to the editor's comments "work in the government sector appears more profitable than comparable work in the private sector," upon what facts do you base that statement? It is an inflammatory opinion, and it is disappointing that the Herald itself is perpetuating this type of misinformation to stoke distrust and separation of the population.

This report addressed wages only, not benefits (e.g., healthcare, paid time off) and pensions, which typically favor public-sector workers (e.g., earlier retirement eligibility).
