Your June 24, 2020 Herald held an article about COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes. I appreciate that you included this article. It cited the isolation of residents, how they basically became wards of the state, not being allowed to be cared for by family members, it mentioned the over 5,300 deaths of those who resided in these NJ facilities and called for improved appropriation of funds for Medicaid beneficiaries. It is too bad this article was on page 50 of your 52-page paper. It should have been on Page 1.
