Wildwood Crest

Years ago, our parents taught us it was impolite to make steady eye contact with others as we were walking. Today, every stranger and his dog seems to stare at you as you walk along. Coming from New England, I wonder if this is just a local custom, or have the times really changed so dreadfully?

Moderator's Note: How about smiling and/or saying hello to those around you? You may make someone's day.
