Who else has noticed how few regular police patrols there are in the northern end of the Crest lately? We year-rounders would see the cars driving by on normal patrols, but outside of the main, north-south roads, where did the patrols go? We feel seeing cruisers on side streets is a deterrent to would-be burglars or mischievous youths, and wonder if there is a reason for their disappearance, especially with out-of-towners coming down.
