Wedding service on the beach--fine. Reception or large reunions on the beach--no way. Out of fairness to all the families on the beach these would have to be after hour events. After hour events with drinking and partying and swimming without lifeguards is a recipe for disaster and by the town condoning it, becomes a liability issue. How much revenue would be realized by allowing these activities--not enough to cover the possible liability issues as a result. Sure people drink on the beach everyday but not in large partying groups. Party elsewhere!!!
