As we watch the day trippers flood our streets each weekend, taking the parking spots of residents, unloading their trunks with the usual beach gear, coolers, food and drinks, refusing to spend a few bucks to feed our parking meters, we all wonder just what is the argument against a small beach fee to lighten our heavy school and local tax load here?
