Thanks to Officer Hanson of the Wildwood Crest Police Department. I was bit by a dog while walking Sept. 25 and did not realize the extent of the bite until I returned home. I went to the police department to report the incident so that it was on file, but had no information concerning the owner of the dog, only a guess where the owner of the dog could reside. Within one hour, I was contacted by Hanson who was able to locate the owner of the dog. As a retired police officer, it's great to know that the police department has dedicated officers like Hanson. Great job!
