To the spouters that keep suggesting the need to cut police/fire/rescue services: That sounds like a great idea. Cut it, but remember that with the cuts, your responses will go down. Try reporting a stolen bike or a blocked sidewalk in Phila. and see what happens. Call 911 for a bloody nose and realize you should just drive yourself to the hospital. I have no qualms with reducing, but don't expect the treatment you're used to.
