A recent Wall St. Journal report that the average Republican voter earns around $79,000 annually makes me wonder why so many senior citizens in our county, who live off Social Security and disability checks, always automatically vote for Republicans. What do you older folks have in common with the wealthy? The rich of course seek to protect their interests. Someone, please explain.
