Now that college students are coming home for the holidays, parents should consider that they've been on their own for awhile, and not think they are the precious, innocent child of bygone memories. Past things as curfews, political views, church attendance, friends, etc., are no longer the business of mom or dad, and that their child has been exposed to a variety of ideas and people to shape their views as they become responsible adults.
