I like the fact that Crest commissioners want to beautify Pacific Ave. with a grass median under the disguise of safety, even though there was never a pedestrian or car accident issue. What commissioners should have done is have visual plans ready for the summer taxpayer to view at the summer commissioner meetings for three months. When this is done in the fall/winter, seasonal taxpayers are suspect that the majority of taxpayers would have given a thumbs down. Major projects like this need to be thought in advance and proposed in front of all taxpayers, not just winter residents.
