Looks like Al Campbell is contradicting himself. He questions rescue efforts to save scientists trapped in the ice of Antarctica while gathering important climate data to help mankind. Yet in previous editorials, he's stated how I, along with other taxpayers, must drop everything and reach into my pocket to pull out my hard-earned wages to bail out the county's heroin junkies. These are people who, through every fault of their own, and, after likely years of committing crimes and stealing to fund their habit, have decided that now they want to get clean. I'd rather help the scientists.
