It's interesting to imply that "refreshing" the rectory was because of a change in personnel. If it was necessary, as suggested by the spouter, then why wasn't it done regardless of the living conditions, rather than a change over in "tenancy?" If this is the case, why aren't the necessary repairs to the two churches finished because these are long-time problems! Our priorities as "true Christians" are to make sure the house of God doesn't have leaky roofs, damaged ceilings and non-working lights. The parishioners who contribute want to "smile" knowing God's house is given care it deserves.
