Wildwood Crest

Interesting decision from Wildwood BoE: because the district lost funding, they are slashing teachers. Students are punished for administrative bloat. Wildwood has three principals and two assistant principals in two school buildings with a total of less than 1,000 students. This, on an island of less than two square miles. The superintendent remarks that the state cut more than 10% of aid, but administrative costs are considerably more than 10% of the total cost of educating each student. If the board is concerned about the well being of students, trim the superfluous administration.
