I just read an article in the Herald about the Crest now pulling out of the Army Corp beach project. Although I agree this is a good call I have a problem with the commissioners mainly the mayor waiting this long to decide. These plans are basically the same plans that have been on the table for 8-10 years. Why did the mayor wait so long to make his disapproval known? The mayor and the other 2 spend tons of money on wonderful new ramps knowing they were within the project scope. How many millions were spent on design. Grade the beach and send sand to NW this will eliminated beach flooding.
