As a former Wildwood Catholic softball player, I can attest to what all these parents are going through. As a four-year varsity player, new coaches were brought in from out of town, and all of a sudden we were expected to travel to accommodate the coach and new players. That team shows favoritism, and if you aren't from Millville or Vineland, you are most likely going to sit the bench. The coaches recruit those new players, and the school allows them to, since it brings them some attention to the softball record. In reality, the people playing aren't even from Wildwood.
