The recent Crest median vote is a good reason why second homeowners should vote on issues other than office holding. A previous spouter claimed paying taxes gave her the right to have a say in what goes on in the local school; well that argument also holds true for matters that influence town improvements, such as the medians. A small group of locals was allowed a final say on something affecting all taxpayers. This voting issue should go to Trenton.
