In December, a spouter suggested the 2015 parish financial report at Notre Dame de la Mer was not available. Soon the parish business year will be coming to an end and a current report due. Isn't it only fair that church members be aware of the financial condition of the parish because we are frequently asked to donate to the church and high school? Unfortunately, there is a "tight lip" policy when talking about finances. What about financial "transparency!" What is our highly paid parish administrator doing about it? Why are the pastor and financial council reluctant to provide the reports?
