Chief DePaul has been retired since Jan. 1 and no replacement? Why? Normal progression would be the next man up and my guess would be the captain. Why isn't the captain being named chief? Is this part of the "investigation" that has riddled the spout off? Summer is around the corner and the town needs a leader in the chief's office.
