The Cape May County spouter requests to know why the Prosecutor's Office has a boat if they are tasked with prosecuting cases in a courtroom. As a retired prosecutor from another NJ county, I would explain that the Prosecutor's Office is a law enforcement agency, whose attorneys & investigators supervise the investigation of all homicides & many major crimes that occur in the county. It has attorneys & investigators on call at all times to respond to crime scenes & provide legal advice to local law enforcement so that the evidence collected will be admissible in court. And NOT only in CMC.
