Can we please have an update on the police situation and the promotion of a new chief? Don't we, as taxpayers deserve to know the status of the police administration? I feel for the members of the department who are ready and willing to move up and step up to new positions and lead the department. I sure hope a full-time public safety administrator is not what the commissioners are thinking. Not fair to those officers who have been working hard and waiting patiently.
