Being new to this area, I'm truly confused by all the constant negatives whenever a spout mentions something favorable about tourists from New York, yet on any given day you see hundreds or more cars from other states, which seems just okay with spouters. Is there some reason for this animosity, and as a tourist destination, are we conveying the wrong message to visitors who drive a long distance here, and have deep pockets?
