Another storm, another disappointment in the Wildwood Crest leadership. The storm on Tuesday took no one by surprise. The chair and umbrella rental vendor on the Crest beach planned ahead. They moved their storage sheds up to the dunes on Monday. The Crest did nothing. We walked to the beach at 6 PM Tuesday night. All the trash cans with their contents were blown or washed into the dunes. Trash, cans, and glass beer bottle everywhere. The newly constructed beach storage units were blown or washed over everywhere and laying in the standing dirty water. Where is Public Works, where is the Mayor? .
