To all who plan on voting for Republican candidates, I’m urging you to research their plan to “sunset” social security and Medicare. Every 5 years these plans will be voted on to see if they’ll be discontinued. I’d prefer to elect Dems, even if it means paying more for a gallon of gas every fill up, than lose socsec/medicare benefits. Another thought, in order to save social security, raise taxable maximum income from $147000 for people making more than that per year. People should be taxed on as much as they make. These high earners won’t even need socsec to retire comfortably.
