Unfortunately, the City of Wildwood, despite unfavorable publicity in 2014, community opposition and promises made last year to not bring these concerts during the peak tourism season, is again encouraging a multi-day EDM festival on our beaches. A special meeting has been called for March 4 at 3 p.m. by Wildwood Commissioners to approve a two-day EDM festival on the weekend of July 8 and 9. This is not a family-friendly event and we do not need it during a peak, family-vacation weekend. Tell the commissioners to move it to the shoulder season before it is too late.
