Bernie somehow has persuaded his believers that he is a different type of politician, a leader of a movement, not a party hack. Then we read he is going to the Vatican for some reason, leaving most of us thinking he's just doing this to pander to the considerable northeast Catholics, even though he is a practicing Jew. I suppose he must do this pandering to get ahead.
