To a North Cape May spouter's comment on socialized health care: I was born in Canada and spent the first 33 years of my life there. Canada began universal health care in 1962. "National Medical Care Act" of 1984 was to get all the provinces on the same page. The problems; two to five hour waits at the emergency room, 30 to 90 days to see a specialist, two to six months wait for surgery, etc. Also, there are no surgeries performed during the fiscal fourth quarter, except for emergencies, because the monies run out. Their population is 35 million, like NY state.
