After working a 12 hour shift at Cape Regional I was unable to cross the George Redding Bridge around 11:45 pm. I was re-routed to North Wildwood and went relatively unimpeded to Wildwood. New Jersey, Pacific, Atlantic and Ocean Avenues were unpassable. Around the 4400 block of Ocean Ave I got out of my car and pleaded with an officer to let me through. I am an older women in scrubs near hysterical and the officer told me to go down to Pacific and I'd "be fine". I told him I tried that street and he then said go to NJ Ave. Thankfully there was a Lower Twp. police car that I rode beside.
