5 Mile Island losing power in summer was an unusual event. Understand locals, visitors and 2nd homeowners frustrations in having their lives, vacations and income streams interrupted. However, the amount of negative and idiotic online comments from locals, visitors and 2nd homeowners complaining about no fireworks, no internet/cable, no stores, no Boardwalk was ridiculous. It wasn't just "you" or "your tenants" that were inconvenienced. It was all of us. Only silver lining, hearing the stories of businesses and locals banding together to help each other out. That is Wildwood!
