Why are Directors,Assistant Directors,Supervisors political appointees etc.,within the county allowed to come and go as, they please? Why does the county hire retired cops in positions that they don’t have any knowledge of? Or better yet, the acting Director creates positions for said, position so, that the long term county employees can’t apply for. Also, the county gives big pay increases to those said about but, pay the blue collar employees 2% or less. Maybe it is time for the union to ask for 15% increase for blue collar employees because surely the County has the funds.
