Whitesboro - There is a bi-partisan bill pending in the NJ legislature that would establish a county task force to crack down on the ATVs and dirt bikes illegally riding on our streets. I wish this were not necessary but for whatever reason, the local police have not been getting the job done on this issue. Perhaps we wouldn't have to delegate this to county officials if Lower and Middle started to confiscate and destroy these vehicles when caught on public streets like they're already doing in Atlantic County. This is a public safety issue that must be solved.
