Whitesboro - It is sad to see someone from Whitesboro complaining about Mayor Donohue partnering with the NAACP to work for a better community. The reason Donohue didn’t attend NAACP events in Whitesboro was because there weren’t many, other than the MLK breakfast, which Donohue has always attended. The mayor has encouraged and mentored Alexander Bland, the new NAACP leader, and good things are finally happening. I grew up in the borough and have known Donohue and his family for 50 years. The disgusting, false attacks against the mayor have no place in our community. The voters rejected this in November. Unity is the way.
