Stop including arts and music when defending sports in school. Keep to the issue of just "sports." You talk about Greek civilization, sports were an important activity in that culture, but not in the education system. Can anyone name any other country in the world where sports is under the domain of their school system? I agree, there is a place for sports, but it is not in the school. Sports should be an activity operated by the community through the recreation department.
