While waiting for my flight from Philadelphia to Denver last week, Philadelphia's Mayor, Cherelle Parker has a taped announcement for new visitors to the city. I will quote Mayor Parker. Welcome to Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love. I invite you to explore our vibrant city and its history on our safe beautiful streets. That is where I had to chuckle. Anyone that lives in or near Philadelphia knows that the many of the streets are anything but safe and a new visitor could make a turn on the wrong street and become a statistic. Sorry Mayor, but the airport is as close as I get to Philly!
