What other job besides teaching requires you to spend your own money to do your job? Now the administration and school board think it’s okay to take away the minor stipend the teachers were given to purchase essential classroom supplies. Where are the writing paper, markers,art supplies and class items supposed to come from? Why are there no cuts to administrative jobs which are duplicating themselves? Why would you take money from teachers pockets who the schools would not function without? Explain why 4 principals are needed, why multiple “curriculum” consultants remain? I do not get it.
