What is the deal with the increasing violence in the NHL. It seems to me that all they do anymore is skate around like a chinese fire drill, smash into opposing players and then beatf each other up, with scoring goals no longer the primery focus.I remember the last NHL hockey that was amazing to watch were the Detroit Red Wings from the 1970s. They had great speed skating skills and much finesse with puck passing to score goals to win many Stanley cups without assaulting their opponents.Rodney Dangerfield had it right when he said i went to a fight, and a hockey game broke out.
