What I love about the Stone Harbor American Legion is how the Sons of the American Legion and the Women’s Auxiliary and veterans step up to help veterans. Having served many years in the military, it means a great deal to see non-veterans committed to supporting those who served. Too many veterans struggle with homelessness, suicide, and drug addiction, and I’ve known many who never fully recovered from their tours. Many people who served their families had to endure their service. Thank you, Stone Harbor American Legion. The resources in this community truly make a difference for veterans.
