What a difference a bridge makes. Taking a ride along the Ocean Drive through Avalon and Stone Harbor, both places are beautiful seashore towns. Moving along the Ocean Drive, south of Stone Harbor, across the toll bridge, we make a left turn to North Wildwood. What a difference for sure. What happened to NW? Overbuilt, overpopulated during the summer, few trees and lawns. Condos replaced beach cottages. What were the Mayor and Council thinking to let this happen to a once sweet little beach town. Moving south, Wildwood and West Wildwood aren't much better. Sad, so very sad.
