West Wildwood - The West Wildwood mayor and commissioners indebted the taxpayers yet again. They held a 'special meeting' March 13 at 9 a.m. that gave little notice to taxpayers to attend their clandestine meeting. At that meeting, they approved a resolution that allowed for the payment of $1,766,687.40 of taxpayer dollars to pay Police Chief Jacqueline Ferentz for a suit she brought against the borough. Why did our insurance carrier refuse to pay? Did the borough not use the insurance carrier attorneys to defend the borough? If not, why not?
