West Wildwood - Trees save lives. It happened here in West Wildwood Oct. 16. An intoxicated driver raced through a stop sign and was stopped short of killing himself when his speeding car struck a curbside tree in front of a town park, killing the sapling but saving the man from barreling into a 30" high stone flag pole monument just feet away. A beautiful tree lost but a life saved. Keep our town safe and beautiful, commissioners. Replace the lost tree now and celebrate the life it spared. It may reward us with another life saved in return!
