West Wildwood - To the spouter wondering why West Wildwood does not merge police forces with Wildwood: You are correct in that there would be significant tax savings to combine police forces with another municipality. However, the residents of West Wildwood bemoan at the high taxes and yet also refuse to "lessen" their services. Merging police departments with NWPD, WPD, or WCPD will indeed save tax dollars but will also result in increased response times and potential increase in crime. The taxpayers complain incessantly and yet refuse to make any concessions.
