In regard to the numerous spouts regarding those little yapping

West Wildwood - In regard to the numerous spouts regarding those little yapping dogs. They cannot help their behavior. Years ago, they were trained by Armies to act as sentries or as we know watchdogs. They were placed outside of camps in small cages. When anyone approached, they let out their yelps and alerted the camp. Air Force Bases did the same thing only with geese inside the fence. Now the hearing impaired and senior citizens have these same type dogs. They are alerted when people or other dogs' approach. Also, coal miner's took canaries and small dogs with them to warn of gas. We should bless them.
