West Wildwood - A recent spout suggested that the doctors and nurses were 'heroes'. A Viet Nam vet is offended and declares "trash workers and mailman (mailmen) are not heroes". I never heard these persons called 'heroes', essential workers, yes. At the same time it should be clear that working every day in the Covid environment has proven deadly. As of this March 3rd more than 1000 dr's, nurses, and health professionals have died do to the virus. When was the last time that many soldiers died in one year. So, we should accept that the vet as well as our health professionals are heroes! Appreciate each other.
