Received my OPRA (Open Public Records Act) 2017-083 request seve

West Wildwood - Received my OPRA (Open Public Records Act) 2017-083 request several days ago regarding the 2017 West Wildwood family festival. At the last monthly meeting, it was asked what the cost was to the borough. The mayor replied $8,000 was paid by the UEZ (Urban Enterprise Zone) fund (whatever that is.) According to my OPRA request for that day and event, it cost the borough $13,576. Overtime for that day was $1,896! Fireworks were $8,000! Other monies went to pretzels, entertainment, face painter, etc. In a time where taxpayers are being squeezed for every dime, stop the madness!
