West Wildwood - My family was at the street-end park on Venice Avenue recently. My daughter, who is 4 years old, had a near fatal fall from the bulkhead at the park. The bulkhead there is less than a foot above the ground. There is no protection to prevent children or elderly from tripping or falling overboard into the mud at low tide or 5 feet of water at high tide. There are rocks and debris in the water there and a drain pipe could knock someone out and cause a drowning. Why is there no protection there; a fence or a barrier? Please do something before someone is killed.
