West Wildwood - To the Lower Township Spouter re: Child Tax Credit...Biden's Administration introduced legislation (H. R. 7024) to INCREASE the Child Tax Credit back to $3600, which HE raised it to during the pandemic. The legislation had bipartisan support and passed the House 357-70. However, because it's an election year and Republicans cant do anything good for the American people because it may make Biden look good, they k*lled the bill in the Senate. The day the deal passed the House, Sen. Chuck Grassley(R) let it slip: “Passing a tax bill that makes the president look means he could be re-elected".
