When they were elected in 2012 shortly thereafter they gave themselves a 50 percent increase in salary then too. Their salaries have gone from $5,000 a year to $15,000 a year in some four years. They also get taxpayer-paid benefits if they want them for themselves and their family. One commissioner is costing taxpayers here near $30,000 a year. Then they raise taxes and sewer taxes and don't tell us why. There is one big reason.
