West Wildwood - I read that the Borough of West Wildwood received a Small Cities Grant for ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) improvements for $400,000. The money will be used to build a handicap ramp to access the small beach at the west end of Glenwood Ave., and to replace a handicap ramp at the rear of Borough Hall. They are both worthy projects. This is a new and good program for the concerned taxpayers group to monitor. The mayor and commissioners tend to say one thing, and then do something else with grant money. Keep an eye on how they spend the $400,000. It is the taxpayers' money, and we have the right to know and question how it is being spent.
