West Wildwood - The Herald reported that West Wildwood Police Chief Ferentz receives a salary of $101,000 a year. Ferentz supervises five police officers. Ferentz has no patrol schedule and is never seen patrolling the streets in the tiny borough. What the Herald salary article failed to report was the bonus funds received by Ferentz. In addition to her $101,000 salary, Ferentz also receives an additional $5,000 a month for a lawsuit settlement against the borough. That pays Ferentz $13,417 a month, for a total of $161,000 each year.
