Just remember those union workers might be your relatives, friends, co-workers spouses and neighbors that you want to put out of a job. They probably carry health insurance which goes to pay your salary. Once they are laid off they will turn to lower paying jobs and/or apply for public assistance, food stamps and free health care from the state. Your taxes will pay for that stuff. Anymore good ideas?
